The customer wanted a dream backyard for family time and to entertain their friends — other families with kids. They weren’t certain what they wanted exactly, so we worked closely with them on the project design, and they were very open to our ideas for features like tile selections and plaster color. We at Signature designed and built the pool, while Barrett Lawn Care designed and built the surrounding landscaping features, like the outdoor kitchen and putting area. We installed Pentair equipment for the pool equipment pad, then applied shotcrete for the pool shell, which is a form of concrete. After we plastered the finished inside of the pool, we used tile for the waterline, as well as the step and bench trim. Signature Pools subcontracted the excavation, plaster, electrical, and mechanical services for this project. Each municipality in the Minneapolis area has its own codes when it comes to pool qualities like fencing or auto-covering. Edina is a little more detailed in their requirements compared to other municipalities. Luckily, This customer was extremely easy to work with on decisions, meaning we could create a dream backyard for their kids and family time.
